Well, to answer that, I have to start here!

I am an accomplished vocalist, musician, and worship leader, equipped with a degree in early childhood and human development. I am a highly experienced childhood expert, with many “real life” music and arts experiences, fully capable of helping vocalists of any age or stage of development.  I am a passionate entrepreneur who produced community theater for over a decade and was a founding coordinator of one of our region's most successful children’s theaters. The walls of my voice studio echo with the sounds of success, as I empower each student to find their voice and grow it to its fullest potential. My focuses on three KEY PRINCIPLES:

BREATH like a singer,

PREPARE like a singer,

SOUND like a singer,

with each lesson/session tailored to the student's unique development and learning style.

So…Why DIVA FX?

When rebuilding and reimagining your passion for a vocal/teaching career, how could you NOT use DIVA in the title, when your name is “Treva”?  Honestly, DIVA was given to me as a teenager and I didn’t always think it was positive so I reassessed the title and it came to me in a new way.  After all, I am:

Inspired to Help Others 

Victorious In My Thinking 

Action-Orientated to be the best I can be!

…And FX?

That part is because I impact students’ success in building their vocal esteem behind the mic and even between lessons with my education, experience, and acceptance.
